Distract is most appropriate to the AB's Magic and Psionics.
For 1 Power Point, the spellcaster may target a character and make an opposed check against one of the target's traits, dependent on the trappings. Trappings that involve pain target Vigor. Trappings that involve objects in motion target Smarts. The ghostly finger or sounds trappings target Notice. Other trappings may target other traits, subject to the GM's interpretation.
If the spellcaster wins the opposed check, any adversary of the target character gains +2 to the next action against that character. With a raise, the target is also Shaken.
For 3 Power Points, the spell may be cast over the area of a Medium Burst and target all characters in the area covered by the template.
