So far, I just have rules for bards, which I wrote when I heard they weren't included in the SW rules. I think these characters have great roleplaying potential, but their power level (as typically constructed) is so low compared to other characters, that no one chooses to play them very often.
Hopefully, I'll correct that here.
Bard
Requires: Novice, AB (Magic), Charisma +2, Spirit d8, Knowledge (Music) d6, Spellcasting d6
When a bard uses a power with the music trapping, she may double the base duration and range without an increase in Power Point cost. Powers with a Range of Touch are given a Range of Spirit. In addition, he or she may affect multiple characters when activating a Power that normally affects a single character, provided the bard is able to pay the Power Point cost for each character. While maintaining the Power, the bard may take no actions other than normal movement. The Music trapping cannot apply to targeted spells such as Bolt or Blast. A bard is not restricted to the music trapping with her powers, it is simply an available option.
Examples: A Battle Song would use Raise Trait on Fighting or Strength and have a range of 2xSmarts. It would have a duration of 6 (1/round). A Healing Song can affect a number of allies at once after the battle, and it would have a range of Spirit and cost 3/healed character.
Performer
Requires: Seasoned, Bard, Persuasion d8
A Bard becomes a more confident and powerful performer in time, allowing +2 to her Charisma.
Battle Singer
Requires: Veteran, Bard, Fighting or Shooting d8, Spellcasting d10
Some Bards learn to maintain their powers while participating in a fight. It takes a certain level of confidence in both Bardic Magic and combat before this can be achieved. A character with this edge may activate a power with the music trapping normally, but is not then restricted in any way while maintaining it, except that only one power may be used (regardless of trappings) at any one time.
